The Happily Nursery is overflowing with cuteness!

Over the past 7 years, we have rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed hundreds of orphaned animals. We are regularly contacted about orphaned newborn goat kids, lambs, calves, and piglets needing our help. For a few months, we had to close the doors to our "Happily Nursery" as we just didn't have the funds and support to continue helping babies in need. The doors stayed shut until these three little cuties were desperate and had nowhere else to go... we opened them back up!

We were asked to take in three newborn lambs, all unwell with no-one to care for them. We knew these little babies deserved a chance, so we said yes. Rosie, Sam, and Frodo were only a few days old and already had parasite burdens, dehydration and very upset tummies. Rosie, the smallest of the three, was in critical condition and required around the clock care to keep her going. Thankfully, after a few days of intensive care, these beautiful babies started to improve. Fast forward a few weeks, and they are thriving!

We have already secured a forever home for these beautiful babies and, after their first vaccinations, they will be heading off to their adoptive family next weekend! This leaves us with the question... do we keep our Nursery doors shut or try to continue doing what we do best?

In all honesty, we didn't have the financial support to take these little babies in. We have made it work, but financially it has taken a toll. If we want to continue helping orphaned babies in need we really need more sponsors for our "Happily Nursery".
