Born with no eyes and no tail on a dairy farm, Mavericks life was spared because he was seen as special. Despite his disabilities, his sweet and gentle soul captured the farmers hearts and they knew he deserved a chance at life.

Maverick was surrendered into our care at 6 months old. He had never experienced life outside of a veal pen, he was incredibly stressed and disoriented. He would pace around in circles continuously, until he met his best friends and seeing eye cows Seymour and Frida. Once Maverick bumped into their side, he would stick to them like velcro and follow. This changed Mavericks life, giving him the confidence to experience the world through his trusted friends eyes.

Fast forward a few years and Maverick is now brave, strong, able and thriving! He still lives with Seymour his best buddy and seeing eye cow, but can navigate himself through his paddock with ease. He is gentle, loving, and kind.

When Maverick confidently runs around his paddock happily, he is proof that disabilities don't need to hold you back! We are so grateful for his love, kindness and joy.
