Cooper was surrendered into our care at only 18 months old. Cooper was an unhandled colt on his way to the slaughterhouse, and had a lot of learning ahead of him before he was suitable for adoption.

His rehabilitation consisted of 3 weeks of professional training and handling, all necessary veterinary care, and lots of time and patience. After 12 months of rehab Cooper found his forever home and still lives with his family today. Cooper is a beloved family member, and a fantastic advocate for our rehoming program.
