Sauce:
1/4 Cup soy sauce
1/4 Cup veg oyster sauce
1/4 Cup rice malt syrup
1/4 Cup cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup water
1 Tablespoon veg Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
4 cloves minced garlic
Tiny squirt of sriracha
Tofu:
1/2 Block of firm tofu
Vegetable oil
1/2 Cup cornflour
Cracked Pepper
Vegetables:
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1 brown onion, wedged
1 capsicum, diced
1 bunch broccolini, trimmed
2 bunches bok choy, trimmed
Sesame seeds and sliced spring onions to garnish
Mix all your sauce ingredients together and set aside
Slice firm tofu into 1cm slices. Then tear the tofu into smaller strips.
Toss in bowl with corn flour and cracked pepper, until really well coated.
Fry tofu in hot veg oil. Shallow fry and turn halfway, when golden on both sides set aside on paper towels.
In a bit of sesame oil in your wok fry onion, capsicum, broccolini and bok choy.
Add in your tofu, pour in your sauce and cook until sauce is sticky.
Serve with rice and garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
